Beautiful Red Gate Farms Wedding

Boy has it been a surreal year! I met Tonya and Matthew for their engagement photos on March 14th, the day before things started to shut down. Hard to believe that that was 6 months ago.

This past weekend we got together again at Red Gate Farms for their wedding and what a beautiful day it was! As difficult as things may have been over the past few months it’s such a joy to come together to celebrate love.

Savannah Cathedral Basilica of St John the Baptist Wedding

Today I want to brag about a member of our team. Aundrea Pye, photographed her first wedding with us back in 2016 and worked with us for a couple of years before leaving the area. She just moved back in February and we were super excited to have her rejoin us at Photos by RB.

Aundrea did an amazing job documenting Beth and Kevin’s Savannah wedding at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Adding in photos at the always beautiful Wormsloe State Historic site and Forsyth Park.

Summertime Wedding at 10 Downing

Ashley and JP swayed together as the music played. JP’s mom began to tear up as she watched the newly weds during their first dance. The Road Ahead

My wife and I honeymooned in San Francisco. It’s a beautiful city and a great place to visit. One of the most amazing things about it is the San Francisco Bay and the dense fog that can roll in and cover everything. It’s quite spectacular to witness. You’re enjoying a beautiful warm day with scenic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. The next thing you know,POOF, it’s all gone..

I don’t know about you but that’s how I’m feeling these days. Back in February, life was rolling along and then the great unpleasantness began. Now here we are five months later and I feel like I’m walking around in a fog. Life as it was is out of sight. We’re all holding on to the hope that things will return to the way they were, but deep down there’s a feeling that life has forever changed.

Surprise Proposal at The Lost Square

To celebrate their anniversary Genevieve and Trent went to one of their favorite rooftop bars to read letters from one another and watch the sunset. As Genevieve was reading her letter Trent got down on one knee behind her. As she finished her letter she turned toward Trent and gasped with a pretty loud expletive.

As the shock of the moment wore Trent had more surprises up his sleeve. A group of their friends and family had come out to celebrate with them.

Congratulations to Trent and Genevieve on their engagement!
