As this crazy year comes to an end we all are more than ready to move past the great unpleasantness of 2020. There’s been a whole lot of change in our lives and the world around us. Some of this change has been for the better, while others have been more challenging to accept.

One of the big bright spots for 2020 has been an increase in intimate weddings and elopements.

An intimate wedding offers loads of flexibility. From a historic square to a rooftop view of the city, there are lots of possibilities when it comes to locations for your intimate wedding.

Wormsloe Elopement Photography

Our first wedding post quarantine was the beautiful elopement of Kacee and Greg at Wormsloe. Photos by Rich Burkhart team member, Aundrea Pye, had the honor of documenting their day. So, I’ll let her tell you a little bit about it:

Kacee and Greg were one of the sweetest couples, a joy to spend time with and as easy going as the lovely breeze we had all afternoon.

The setting for their wedding day was everything you could hope for - sunny, the perfect temperature, breezy, birds chirping, and this feeling of peace all around.

They were giddy as could be as they said their vows to one another. After they were officially married, we roamed around taking photos beneath the beautiful, iconic arches at Wormsloe.

Congratulations to Kacee and Greg on their Savannah Elopement!
