Spring Harper Fowlkes House Wedding

Savannah offers so many amazing venues for weddings. Some of my favorites are the historic sites including houses, such as the Harper Fowlkes. Its garden is beautiful and was the perfect location for Haley and Chris’s Savannah wedding. After getting ready at The Desoto they chose to have a First Look and read special vows to one another before the ceremony. Once they finished they stored them away in a wine box, which they will open together to celebrate their first anniversary.

Spring is such a beautiful time in Savannah. As you move through the season different flowers blooming and all kinds of fragrances fill the air. One of my favorite is Confederate Jasmine, which is currently in bloom and makes for one of my favorite backdrops. Following their ceremony everyone made their way over to Soho South Café for the reception.

Congratulations to Haley and Chris! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day.

Bluffton Sunset Wedding Celebration

Shannon and Gary knew the first time they saw the view from the veranda at Colleton River Club that they wanted to celebrate their wedding there. That’s just what they did. Father Andrew Fryml presided over a beautiful ceremony at Saint Andrew Chapel before they joined friends and family at the Colleton River Club for the festivities. The breathtaking sunset over the river was the perfect cap to a magical day.

Congratulations to Shannon and Gary! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your love story.

Wormsloe and Vic's on The River Wedding

When it comes to outdoor wedding venues in the Savannah area, few offer the beauty and southern charm of Wormsloe Historic Site. Make one trip along the oak lined drive and you will see why Mindy and Jed chose it for their Savannah destination wedding. Though the weather forecast was calling for a chance of rain Mother Nature had other plans and as Mindy and Jed said their “I dos” the evening sun streamed through the treetops. After capturing some gorgeous photos along the picturesque drive we headed downtown for their reception celebration at Vic’s on the River.

Congratulations to Melinda and Jedediah! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your love story.

Savannah Wedding at The Mansion On Forsyth Park

Small weddings can be just as gorgeous and elegant as a large weddings. Lucy and Josh had already had the big wedding in China, but they also wanted to have a beautiful celebration in Savannah. With the help of Vanessa at Spectacular Saturdays weddings and Events they planned the perfect day. Their beautifully sweet ceremony was held in the courtyard at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. After they said their “I dos” we headed over to the park for some beautiful wedding portraits. When we returned to the Mansion Lucy went for a quick dress change before introductions and their first dance. They capped off the day with dinner and dessert as they celebrated with their family and friends.

Congratulations to Lucy and Josh! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your love story.
