Fall Wedding at the Tybee Wedding Chapel

Cora moved around in nervous anticipation. As the doors swung open theTybee Island Wedding Chapel was filled with a flood of bright sunlight and the beauty of Cora’s bride. As Nacine’s grandfather led her into the chapel Cora let out all the emotion she’d been holding in, which was a good thing because Nacine had warned if she didn’t she was going to turn around and do it again.

The ceremony was highlighted with their heartfelt words of love for one another. After the ceremony and some gorgeous photos around the property it was time to celebrate. The crew at Thrive Catering served up a delicious meal and Dj Will Smith made sure the dance floor was busy throughout the night!

Spring Wedding at The Tybee Wedding Chapel

Bright light surrounded Hanson as she stepped through the doorway into the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. Her father escorted her down the aisle to her awaiting groom, but before she exchanged vows with Justin she had another important vow to make. Hanson reached into the pocket of her wedding dress and pulled out a locket and presented it to her new step daughter, Izzy.

Family was the focus for Hanson and Justin’s wedding. With so much going on over the past few months, there was a lot of uncertainty about whether or not they would even be able to have their wedding on their desired date. After a few alterations they were able to have their wedding as planned.

Congratulations to Hanson and Justin! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day!

Tybee Beach and Guard House Wedding

There was a single boutonniere on the table next to the wedding rings. Mike was supposed to be wearing it as he officiated Jim and Debbie’s vow renewal. Unfortunately he lost his battle with cancer, so the white rose stood as a reminder.

The sky was overcast and the light was fading fast, but just before Debbie was escorted onto the beach the sun began to poke through the clouds. Jim smiled as his daughters, Jenna and Katie, kissed their mom on the cheeks.

It was a beautiful December day on Tybee Island that was warm enough, you didn’t even need a jacket.

It had been 30 years since Debbie and Jim first said “I do”. They joked about needing glasses as they read their heartfelt vows to one another.

After the ceremony everyone headed to the Tybee Guard House. The reception was all about the food as Thrive Catering put out a delicious spread. Debbie and Jim ate, danced, and reminisced as they celebrated with family and friends.

As Jim said, “let’s do it again in 20 years”!

Sweet Tybee Island Wedding Chapel Wedding

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel has long been one of my favorite venues. Add in a super adorable couple and you get one pretty spectacular wedding day. Sarah and John’s friends and family all agree on one thing. Sarah and John are the perfect match for one another. Spend more than 5 minutes with them and you can easily see why.

From the sweet ceremony to all of the personal touches the day was magical from start to finish. Plus, you hardly ever go wrong with a live band and Leopold’s Ice Cream. John,  being a musician himself, totally stole the show when he joined the band for a song.
