Surprise Proposal at The Lost Square

To celebrate their anniversary Genevieve and Trent went to one of their favorite rooftop bars to read letters from one another and watch the sunset. As Genevieve was reading her letter Trent got down on one knee behind her. As she finished her letter she turned toward Trent and gasped with a pretty loud expletive.

As the shock of the moment wore Trent had more surprises up his sleeve. A group of their friends and family had come out to celebrate with them.

Intimate Wedding at The Gastonian

Katelynn stood across from Cameron and looked into his eyes as she placed the ring on his finger. In that moment an unwelcome visitor briefly perched on her nose. Both she and Cameron broke out in big smiles as she shooed the tiny insect away.

Spring Wedding at The Tybee Wedding Chapel

Bright light surrounded Hanson as she stepped through the doorway into the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. Her father escorted her down the aisle to her awaiting groom, but before she exchanged vows with Justin she had another important vow to make. Hanson reached into the pocket of her wedding dress and pulled out a locket and presented it to her new step daughter, Izzy.

Family was the focus for Hanson and Justin’s wedding. With so much going on over the past few months, there was a lot of uncertainty about whether or not they would even be able to have their wedding on their desired date. After a few alterations they were able to have their wedding as planned.

Congratulations to Hanson and Justin! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day!

Things began to change for me when I was accepted to the Savannah College of Art and Design and moved to Savannah. On my first night in town, Floyd Adams was inaugurated as Savannah’s first black mayor. As I began to take classes, my world opened up immensely.

My best friend was a Muslim from Turkey. I dated a girl from Central America, and made friends from all over the world. My perspective changed. I finally got to know people for who they were and not just the biased stereotypes I had been taught.
