Surprise Red Gate Farms Barn Wedding

Planning a wedding is hard. It’s a major commitment of time and energy to put together a magical day to celebrate your love. Now imagine planning the perfect wedding as a surprise for your best friends. That’s just what four amazing friends did for Chad and Erik. Now Chad and Erik knew a wedding would be happening at some point, but the location and details they left to their planning team. Boy did they hit the mark! Friends and loved ones came from all over to celebrate Chad and Erik’s love at Red Gate Farms. From the gorgeous florals to the dessert every detail was spot on.

Winter Barn Wedding at Red Gate farms

Planning a wedding is no walk in the park. Planning a wedding during a worldwide pandemic, now that can be downright stressful. After all of those months of waiting and wondering Kelsey and Christian’s big day finally came and I have to say it was absolutely perfect!

As the last touches of makeup were being finished you could feel the joy and excitement in the room. All of the worry was gone. It had been replaced by laughter and love.

Peaceful Red Gate Farms Engagement Photography

Tyler held Lauren tight and gave her a big kiss. The sun poured in through the Spanish Moss covered Oaks and surrounded them with warmth. In just a few months Lauren and Tyler will be saying “I do” here at Red Gate Farms. As we strolled the peaceful grounds we talked about their wedding day and the joy that awaits them on the road ahead.

Beautiful Red Gate Farms Wedding

Boy has it been a surreal year! I met Tonya and Matthew for their engagement photos on March 14th, the day before things started to shut down. Hard to believe that that was 6 months ago.

This past weekend we got together again at Red Gate Farms for their wedding and what a beautiful day it was! As difficult as things may have been over the past few months it’s such a joy to come together to celebrate love.
