Forsyth Park Proposal Photography

There was excitement in the air all around the Forsyth Park fountain. Just moments before a gentleman proposed on the north side of the fountain just away from the crowd. Visitors we gathered around taking selfies and enjoying the weather.

Alicia and I were looking everywhere for our couple. You see preparing for a surprise proposal is kinda like a stake out. You have to blend in and keep an eye out for your target. We finally spotted them on the south side of the fountain and moved around and into position. I made sure to make eye contact and offer a sly nod as I passed. Adam got the signal and turned to Blair and dropped to one knee. Her reaction was priceless.

Savannah Wedding at The Mansion On Forsyth Park

Small weddings can be just as gorgeous and elegant as a large weddings. Lucy and Josh had already had the big wedding in China, but they also wanted to have a beautiful celebration in Savannah. With the help of Vanessa at Spectacular Saturdays weddings and Events they planned the perfect day. Their beautifully sweet ceremony was held in the courtyard at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. After they said their “I dos” we headed over to the park for some beautiful wedding portraits. When we returned to the Mansion Lucy went for a quick dress change before introductions and their first dance. They capped off the day with dinner and dessert as they celebrated with their family and friends.

Congratulations to Lucy and Josh! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your love story.

Historic Savannah Wedding With Mariachi

After photographing nearly 300 weddings over the past 10 years, before 2019, we had never had a wedding with a mariachi band. This year that changed. Just 9 weddings into 2019, we’ve already had 2 super fun weddings that included mariachi. Nancy and Jonathan are such a sweet couple and after just a few minutes with them you can easily see how much they adore one another. They chose to be married at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church where Rev. Felipe Ricardo presided over the ceremony. Guests lined the stairs as the newlyweds exited the church to the sounds of the band Mariachi Mexico 2000. We boarded the trolley for a quick ride over to Forsyth Park where we strolled around and captured some gorgeous and fun photos.

Nancy and Jonathan joined their family and guests at The Charles Morris Center where they celebrated into the night.

Congratulations Nancy and Jonathan. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your love story.

Forsyth Park & Savannah Station Wedding

Forsyth Park is one of the most iconic and beautiful locations for a Savannah wedding. As often as I photograph sessions in the park it’s really surprising that I have only photographed a handful of weddings at the fountain. This past weekend I had the honor of documenting Sheila and Parker’s Savannah wedding at the beautiful Forsyth Park fountain. We met the guys for some fun photos at The Westin Savannah Harbor before heading to the park for their ceremony.

After the ceremony we strolled around capturing some fun moments with them and their wedding party. The reception was held at Savannah Station where they celebrated into the night with family and friends. After a quick glow stick exit Sheila and Parker climbed into the Green Moose for their get away.

Congratulations to Sheila and Parker. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day.
