Tybee Island Engagement Photography

This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous! The long lines of traffic headed out to Tybee and the lack of available parking is a sure sign that beach season is right around the corner. Even with the extra visitors it was a perfect time for Skylar and Sam’s beach engagement session.

We had such a great time getting to know one another as Skylar and Sam played around in the ocean and ran on the beach. A few of our feathered friends even got it on the photos.

Wedding at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel

2020 was a crazy year! It was a year that required a ton of patience and flexibility. It was definitely a stressful time to plan a wedding. Erika and Jason made the decision to alter their wedding plans not once, but twice. As they say the third time's the charm, and boy was it!

They could not have asked for a more beautiful day for their Tybee Island Wedding. They chose to have a first look and as Jason waited for his bride you could see the range of emotions on his face. As he turned he burst into laughter at the sight of his groomsman Chris standing there in a wedding dress. After a little fun it was time to see his real bride, Erika.

Their wedding was full of love and joy as they celebrated a day that they’ve waited a long time for.

Savannah Oatland Island Wedding

Rain, rain, rain.. It seems like February has been filled with rainy gloomy days. The days leading up to Rachel and Jordan’s wedding were wet and dreary. Fortunately Mother Nature smiled down and blessed Rachel and Jordan with an amazingly beautiful day.

The sun blazed above Jordan’s grandfather’s home as his lovely bride made her way out. The emotion of the moment finally caught up to him as he saw her walking toward him. You could feel the love in the air as they read their heartfelt vows to one another.

After the ceremony and lots of beautiful photos around the property the newlyweds joined the reception and celebrated into the night. The festivities were capped off with fireworks and a sparkler exit.

Congratulations to Rachel and Jordan! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day.

Wedding Day Tip: Family Formal Photo List

The ceremony is beautiful, the couple is happy, and everyone is ready to party. You mosey on over to the cocktail hour where you wait, and wait, and wait, seemingly F O R E V E R  for the couple to arrive. We’ve all been there. Whether as a guest or maybe even a part of the wedding party and who usually gets the blame for taking so long? The photographer.

Well if there’s one thing I don’t ever want, is to keep the couple or their guests waiting. A wedding is a celebration and that’s just what everyone wants to do. The biggest key to being introduced on time is a solid timeline. One very important part of that wedding day timeline is the Family Formals.

Rainy Red Gate Farms Wedding

Rain was pouring down outside the barn. The Elvis classic Can't Help Falling in Love was playing in the background as the team made the adjustment to have the ceremony inside the barn. Bright sunshiny wedding days. It’s what we all dream of.  No one wants to think about rain on their wedding day, but there are times when Mother Nature has other plans.

As the rain came down outside Catherine and David were joined by their children at the altar. Tears flowed and laughter filled the air as they said their “I dos”. While the day may not have turned out the way they had envisioned, Catherine and David had a day full of love and joy!

Congratulations to Catherine and David! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day.
