Jekyll Island Engagement Photography

Jessie-&-Phil-80

As the “Snowpocalypse” of 2014 passes through the area, it’s a nice distraction to look back to the weekend and edit this fun Jekyll Island engagement session. Jessie is from the States while Phil is from the UK. They met in Rugby, England and a true romance blossomed.  They were so amazing to work with! We started on Driftwood Beach with their pup “Sailor Girl” before finishing up near the Horton House historic site. Jessie and Phil really had a lot of fun together which made my job that much easier. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in just a couple of months!

Beautiful Mother to Be

Rebecca-Marsh-9

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is the ability to document my life and the people I love. I love taking brief photographic adventures with my beautiful wife Rebecca, though we do not do it nearly enough. It gives me the opportunity to try out new locations, while capturing her beauty. We recently tried out a new spot in the marsh that might just become one of my future locations for photo sessions and as Rebecca progresses through pregnancy it is ever more important to me that I show her through photographs the beautiful mother to be that I see every day.

Savannah Wedding: Rachel & Paul

Portraits-42

My first Savannah wedding of 2014 is in the books and I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to kick off the year than with an intimate ceremony and reception at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force. Rachel and Paul used 1940/50’s Rockabilly inspiration for their wardrobes and decorations. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements were made with paper flowers which added the perfect touch to the overall feel of the wedding.  The ceremony was as unique as the couple, mixing Jewish tradition with a quote from Dr. Seuss. While the reception provided plenty of time for fellowship and dancing. The night ended with a sparkler send off and a little fun playing with colored sparklers.
